Edmundo 135MM 52 Ring
Yep, I got a few while in the sand box and finally had the opportunity to enjoy one one the balcony.  Very nice!  I lit well, is burning well, nice smoke, perfect draw, and the flavor is good, not to harsh, not too mild.  Yum!

I won't tell my wife how much I spent on the box, however it was a gift to myself for the pain of being away from my wife a daughter!

I got two for them now P226 and a P220 9mm and .45 respectively. Dads need to have a hand cannon to defend the family from the "bad" people. Momma also likes shooting steel targets. She gets a kick out of the "ping". So anyhow, why Sig Sauer. Well I flew with the 226 when I was in the Navy. A good gun and very accurate. Sigs are known for their simplicity and accuracy out of the box. I have been impressed. I am not a huge pistol shooter. The ones I have had the opportunity of shooting where not nearly as enjoyable as the Sigs. Shot the .45 right after purchase and it was on the money at 15 yard. I got a couple ringers right on the 10X awesome. So if you are feeling frisky and want to try the alarm system, remember, I got Sig and a CCW permit!!

I have the ScribeFire plugin for Firefox that I always forget to use when crafting up a blog entry. It is actually a very good tool for updating blogs. I really need to use it more. Hence the reason for this posting. A way to play with ScribeFire and blogging. If you are new to blogging, a friend of mine, Brent is posting some pretty good gouge on how to blog, what to blog about and setting up your blog. If you have a few minutes check out his blog, it is pretty good.

Daddy's time to Chill

Dad like babies need a little down time. While you are down why not enjoy a fine cigar. I recently signed up for the Cigar Dave Officers Club. A great place to get a monthly sample of some decent cigars. For $20 a month, 3 cigars are mailed right to your door step. As how I am not a huge cigar smoker, 3 a month are just about perfect for me. For a new father, cigars mailed to the house are a double edged sword. 1. We don't have leave the house to go cigar store to get a stogie. 2. We don't have to leave the house to get a stogie.

Anyhow I smoked two this weekend, one solo on the back porch while CC enjoyed a saturday afternoon nap. CAO America I was not super thrilled with this particular cigar, a little, how would you say leafy. I think I need to develop a cigar rating scale. 1 being smoking pine needles a 10 being a nice fat filet mignon. So I would rate this maybe a 4-5.

The second cigar I shared with a budy of mine, Chris, in his man cave along with some Elijah Craig Bourbon. The cigars we had, also from the Cigar Dave network were XXX I need to look this up and report.. very good cigar.

Chris also recommended Opus X cigars, said they were right up there, a #10 on the filet Mignon scale.

Every now and again, daddy's, after a long day of bringing home the bacon, need to get a nice beverage and prop their feet up. Well a couple of weeks ago, a fellow father of mine brought me a nice bottle of Bulliet Bourbon. A nice gift and we go back and forth with cigars and whiskey. However we do need to make a point of getting together and drinking and smoking, that however will be another entry.
So a little about Bulliet. The bottle is interesting and has a cork stopper. When you sniff the golden liquid, you can smell the alcohol. You can also smell and taste the oak. On initial sip, it is almost a little too strong then the flavor mellows to a buttery flavor. I am guessing this would go well with a nice Maduro.
So would i buy this for myself. Well i am a fan or Crown Royal, Jameson and of course some good 30yr old scotch. But then again i am reaching out and trying new things. So one never knows.

Rental cars

One of the fun things about traveling is rental cars. We got a PT Cruiser. Kind of cool set of wheels. Crackerz at 4am as we left the airport, said she felt like a "gangster". Well the PT cruise in my humble opinion is lacking on many different levels.
1. Comfort: Not very comfortable on longer trips front buckets did not contour to the body.
2. Gas mileage: Did not see 28 mpg more like 22
3. Space: Glad we only have 1 kid. A second would have required a kiddie seat on the roof. Trunk space was a little tight and leg room in the back was lacking.. Had to get back there during a traffic jam to feed the young one.
4. Oh shit handle: Need one on the passenger side.
5. Performance: Turning radius needs improvement and "balls" it has none. Needed all of the acceleration lane on the highway to get up to speed. Did not want to stay at highway speeds, always needed the foot on the pedal. Actually slowed when going down steep grades while foot was off the gas. Needed to put into neutral to accelerate. Almost felt like a gearing issue.
6. Our model did not have cruise control.
7. Umbrella stroller fit on top of our gear in the "trunk" area. Glad we did not bring the "BOB"

Anyhow I did drive it like a rental!! Yowza!!
